Diwali lights near Bradford Mandir
Bradford puts up Diwali lights every year in the centre and in areas with a significant Hindu or Sikh population. Since today is pradosha and I am fasting I decided to take a detour coming home from work and take some photos of the lights (I don’t need to worry about being late for tea).
Diwali itself is on Friday, the 5th of November this year, which means that there should be plenty of fireworks in the UK. The Mandir Diwali celebrations are on Saturday. Here are some more pictures of the lights.
